6/13/12 The 6-foot-4, 200-pound Beimel displayed the day's only split finger fast ball. The Class of 2013 right handed thrower had excellent control of the pitch with late downward movement. His curve ball was the best displayed on the day, sitting at 66-67 mph. With slight adjustments to his delivery, a spike in velocity on his 78 mph fast ball is realistic.

Comments
Offensively Beimel displayed gap power with a solid approach at the plate. His short swing path allowed him to consistently hit line drives to all fields.
8/15/12 Beimel showcased the event's only splitter and it was a good one. Beimel sits 67-68 with the pitch and consistently throws it for strikes. His splitter shows good downward late movement. The 6-foot-4, 200-pound right hander couples the splitter with a fastball that tops at 80mph and an 11/5 curveball that sits 66-67mph. Beimel has excellent control as evidenced by his ability to throw all three pitches to corners of the plate.
11/11/12 Beimel was down a bit in velocity from previous performances, but still commande his split finger fastball at 66mph. Beimel is a rare high school pitcher who has the ability to control this pitch and use it as his out pitch. He showcased the ability to throw the pitch for strikes and kept it down in the zone. Beimel also commanded his 63mph curveball and 78mph fastball.
