Herring ran a 6.96 60-yard dash and showcased the ability to play the baseball on the move with an accurate 83 mph arm from his outfield position.
6/19/13 Herring is a 5-foot-9, 160-pound prospect that ran a 7.29 60-yard dash and showed a 77 mph arm from the outfield. Herring will continue to develop arm strength and will get more out of his arm as he learns to play through the baseball. The right-handed hitter utilizes a high hands load and a lift and replace stride to create a bat exit velocity of 68 mph. Herring displayed the ability to consistently barrel the baseball and used all fields well.
