10/11/12 Ely showcased good feet and soft hands around first base. The 5-foot-11, 155-pound 1B/RHP ran a 7.50 60-yard dash and turned in a 72mph bat exit speed. Ely had a double in the 7th inning of Game #1 and worked a scoreless inning on the mound. The RHP topped out at 76mph out of a high 3/4 arm slot with a 64mph 11/5 breaking curveball.
