2/23/13 Striebig showcased well in all facets of the game showing his versatility as a two-way player. He turned in a 4.28 home-to-first time and showed some carry on throws of 77 mph across the diamond. The 5-foot-11, 145-pound junior used a short swing path and a 72 mph bat exit velocity to consistently barrel the baseball. Striebig sat 81-83 with a loose high 3/4 delivery during his bullpen session. He showed some arm-side run to his fastball and to his 74 mph changeup. Striebig commanded his curveball that sat 68-70 with an 11/5 break. Striebig is likely to see substantial spikes in his velocity as his athletic, lean frame continues to develop and fill out.
