Pae hist from a slightly open stance and strides closed. The right-handed hitter showcased a bat exit velocity of 78 mph while squaring the baseball consistently with a flat bat path through the hitting zone.

2/16/14 Pae is a 6-foot-2, 165-pound prospect that displayed the ability to barrel the baseball frequently from a square stance with a high hands load. The right-handed hitter utilizes a flat bat path and showed the ability to use all fields with a bat exit velocity of 82 mph. Pae registered a 4.42 home-to-1B time and flashed pop times of 2.07-2.16 on throws of 75 mph from the crouch.
11/2/13 Pae was the youngest and the slightest of build among the top catchers from the event. His athleticism stood out and his 6-foot-2, 165-pound frame has plenty of room to fill out. Pae showcased pop times of 2.10-2.16 on throws of 77 mph from the crouch. His catch and release time has room for improvement and his arm strength should continue to get even stronger. Pae utilizes a short, flat bat path from a high hands load to create a bat exit velocity of 83 mph. He barreled the baseball routinely and the ball jumps off his bat head. Pae has shown continuous improvements over the past six months and has established himself as a catcher to follow in this class.
9/22/13 Pae is a 6-foot-2, 165-pound prospect that has room to add significantly to his frame. The right-handed hitter utilizes a short swing path from a high hands load to create a bat exit velocity of 79 mph. He went 1-for-4 in game action at DeSales University. Pae showcased pop times of 2.25-2.30 on throws of 74 mph from the crouch. As he continues to improve his footwork and transition his times will continue to drop.
6/19/13 Pae is a 6-foot-2, 160-pound catcher that showed raw athleticism and the potential to make big strides quickly. He showcased pop times of 2.12-2.23 on throws of 77 mph from the crouch. He showed real quickness and gained ground well, but will need to improve his transfer mechanics. Pae ran a 7.48 60-yard dash and utilized a high hands load to create a bat exit velocity of 74 mph.
