2/16/14 Haberle sat 76-78 out of a high 3/4 arm slot with more in the tank. The physical 6-foot-2, 225-pound sophomore showed stiffness throughout his delivery and relied heavily on his upper half. Haberle's 11/5 breaking curveball at 74 mph shows potential while he slows his arm speed significantly on his 75 mph changeup.
2/15/14 Haberle is a physical 6-foot-2, 225-pound prospect that showed capable glove work at 1B and a 79 mph arm across the diamond. Haberle moves fairly well for a player his size, turning in a 4.45 home-to-1B time. The right-handed hitter showcased one of the top bat exit velocities of the event at 93 mph. He hits from a slightly open stance with a toe tap trigger and extremely quick hands. Haberle wore out the middle of the field in his round of batting practice and showed legitimate power potential.
7/30/13 Haberle is an impressive looking athlete for his class at 6-foot-2, 225-pounds. The right-handed hitter has a polished swing creates a 92 mph bat exit velocity with a very strong lower half. Haberle went 2-for-3 in game action on day one of the event. He also sat 79-80 on the mound out of a high 3/4 arm slot and showcased a 73 mph 11/5 breaking curveball in his time on the mound. While his bat is what makes Haberle stand out, some mechanical work to his delivery will make Haberle a viable two-way prospect as well moving forward.
6/18/13 Haberle is an imposing young prospect at 6-foot-2, 225-pounds. He has some work to do to refine his skill set, but he is physically strong and warrants being a high follow in this class. Haberle ran an 8.00 60-yard dash and exhibited choppy actions around the bag at 1B with a 77 mph arm across the diamond. Haberle sat 79-80 out of a high 3/4 arm slot on the mound while also displaying a 76 mph changeup and a 71 mph slider. Hitting from a square stance, Haberle put on a show during his round of batting practice. He utilized a strong hip turn and a 94 mph bat exit velocity to drive baseballs around the park. Haberle will need to work on his agility and defensive work, but his bat plays and he showcased real power potential for a player his age.
