6/24/15 5-foot-11, 170-pound right-handed hitter. Started from a square stance and took an aggressive, waist-high leg kick to a wide base. Body and head traveled a significant distance with stride. Hyper-aggressive swing with good rhythm to hand load. Would benefit from tightening up his strike zone. Ran a 6.74 60-yard-dash, along with 4.22 and 4.29 in-game home-to-1B times. Showcased 91-mph exit velocity and 84-mph arm strength during workout. Moved well defensively, threw ball with long arm swing from low slot with low trajectory.

6/24/15 5-foot-11, 170-pound frame. Pitched out of a three-quarter slot from slightly crossfire delivery. Deliberate leg lift, pushes hands away from body for separation, long arm action, has some hand speed out front. Fastball sat 78-79 and touched 80. Also incorporated a curveball at 65-66 and a slider at 70.

9/7/14 Lockette sat 77-79 early in his three innings on the mound with some cut action to his fastball as he worked into his final inning. The sophomore relied primarily on the fastball but did flash an occasional 66 mph curveball with 11/5 break. Lockette showed raw athleticism in all his actions showcasing a 6.90 60-yard dash and a solid 81 mph arm from the outfield. The right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and utilizes a leg lift load to generate barrel whip with a bat exit velocity of 82 mph. Lockette led off the early game with a base hit and squared the baseball in several at bats during the course of the day.
