Comments
2/23/13 Landis separated himself from the field because of his pop times. The 5-foot-10, 185-pound junior threw five throws to second base with 1.97 being his slowest. His top two times were a 1.88 and 1.89. Landis has an exceptionally quick transfer and gains ground effectively. Offensively he had one of the better batting practice rounds of the day. Landis used a short, compact line-drive stroke to consistently square baseballs throughout his round. He wore out the middle and opposite sides of the field while staying inside the baseball. Landis showed his athleticism and versatility by also working at third base. He showed a capable glove and throws that had good carry across the diamond at 82 mph.
