2/16/14 Horgan is a 6-foot-2, 175-pound righty that starts from an overhead rocker that sat 79-80 with a loose delivery. The junior also displayed a 75 mph changeup thrown at near fastball arm speed and a 72 mph curveball with tight rotation. Horgan's curveball showed sharp, late break and at times had biting 12/6 action.

2/15/14 Horgan is a long strider (4.01 home-to-1B) that showed athleticism and a strong 86 mph arm in the outfield. The 6-foot-2, 175-pound junior has room to still add to his frame. Horgan has a bit of a wrap in the load phase of his right-handed swing, but still generates good barrel whip. He showed the ability to use all fields with an 80 mph bat exit velocity.

1/12/14 Horgan is a 6-foot-2, 175-pound prospect that turned in the top all-around performance of the day. The athletic junior ran the top home-to-1B time of the event at 4.07 and topped all position player arms with throws of 87 mph from the outfield. Horgan also displayed some pop at the plate with an 80 mph bat exit velocity. He hits from a narrow stance and creates barrel whip with a solid lower half.
