7/20/14 Cursio is a 5-foot-8, 165-pound uncommitted senior that displayed the ability to make pitches when he needed to on a day that he didn't have his best stuff. The lefty sat 80-81 from a 3/4 arm slot and struggled with command issues during the course of his four innings on the mound. While he did not walk anyone he worked from behind in the count frequently but was able to mix his 70 mph 1/7 curveball and 75 mph changeup effectively to induce two inning ending double plays. Cursio showed his competitive nature and battled through his four innings managing to work out of several jams.

6/18/14 Cursio worked three very solid innings in game play sitting 82-84 with arm side run from a high 3/4 arm slot. The uncommitted senior commanded a 73 mph curveball with 1/7 rotation and an effective 71 mph changeup thrown at near fastball arm speed. The 5-foot-8, 165-pound lefty registered three strikeouts in game action while allowing just one hit.
4/11/14 Cursio displayed a compact swing with some pop. He lined a single to CF in his first at bat and drove a ball off the right field wall in his final at bat. In between he was hit by a pitch and got himself out when he got jammed on a pitch up and in.
2/16/14 Cursio incorporates a forward rocker step and gets out over his front leg well. The lefty sat 78-80 with command of his fastball down in the zone. Cursio had one of the better curveball/changeup combinations at the event. His 70 mph curveball showed solid tilt with tight rotation and his 75 mph changeup had both sink and run. The 5-foot-8, 165-pound junior has a solid frame and is likely to see additional velocity moving forward to go with his three-pitch command.
2/15/14 Cursio continues to show improvements in his game. The two-way prospect showcased his athleticism with fluid actions in the outfield and solid carry on throws of 85 mph. The 5-foot-8, 165-pound lefty registered a 4.31 home-to-1B time and showcased an 83 mph bat exit velocity. Cursio displayed a balanced, quiet approach at the plate with loose hands and the ability to use all fields.
8/18/13 Cursio sat 77-80 out of a high 3/4 arm slot with a free and easy delivery. He has a good feel for his complimentary pitches, works quickly and holds runners well. Cursio worked two scoreless innings without yielding a hit.
Cursio is a left-handed hitter that shows the ability to use all fields. He barreled the baseball consistently in his round of batting practice with a bat exit velocity of 80 mph. Cursio shows solid actions in the outfield and straight line carry on throws of 75 mph.

The 5-foot-8, 155-pound lefty also showcased a 1/7 breaking 69 mph curveball and a 70 mph changeup thrown at near fastball arm speed. Cursio has repeatable mechanics and should see increased velocity as his frame continues to develop.
