11/11/12 Rivera is a 5-foot-11, 155-pound lefty with sound mechanics and very good control. Using a high ¾ throwing motion, Rivera commanded a 78mph fastball, a 67mph curveball and a 70mph changeup. He was consistently down in the zone and threw all three pitches for strikes repeatedly.
