Primary out-pitch on this day was a slider with short, late break at 69-70 for which he displayed a good feel.

Struggled early on with the feel for his curveball at 69-70, but the pitch showed better 11/5 action as his outing wore on. Showed a straight change-up in between innings, but it was not a major part of his repertoire in game action.

6/24/15 6-foot-2, 170-pound right-handed hitter. Started from a square, narrow stance and strode to slightly closed and wide with some top half dive. Swing path is slightly uphill and has some length to it. Ran a 7.47 60-yard dash and 4.72 in-game home-to-1B time. Showcased 82-mph exit velocity and 84-mph arm strength during workout. Would benefit defensively from shortening release time and using lower trajectory on throws.
