2.19.18 A big-bodied infielder, with a broad frame with room to add muscle as he continues to mature. At the plate, struggles with balance at times, but shows some quick hands through the zone and to develop some pop in the future from the left side. Slight toe tap load, brings hands back, drives bat through the zone with two hands, followed up by a quick and clean extension. In the infield, shows proper footwork but currently lacks fluidity in his motions, and must improve on his athleticism and arm strength moving forward. Ball comes out of hand cleanly, but arm action sometimes looks awkward in the back. Behind the plate, Wyatt shows the most projectability with proper footwork and clean transfers, while the arm strength will only keep getting better as he gets stronger. Overall, the 2020 classman shows some tools and will definitely need to improve certain assets in his game to take the next step forward.
4.15.17 A young, left-handed hitting catching prospect that has a good frame with room to add more mass as he continues to mature. Showed correct footwork behind the plate and a good understanding for the position, and should become quicker as he continues to develop. Arm works, but Wyatt needs to continue working on his arm strength. A little off balanced at the plate and needs more lower half engagement; Wyatt uses a toe tap to load, and brings his hands back into a good launching position. Swing gets long a times but made some nice contact, and showed signs that he could develop some pop in time. Exit Velo: 75 Pop Time: 2.18 C Velocity: 70
