10.23.16 Length and lots of it at 6-foot-7, 171-pounds, the right-handed Millar has improved his actions and rhythm since the spring as he works from high-3/4 arm slot with better movement and aggressiveness towards the plate. Still looks to get inside the ball and hinder his extension, the young 2019 grad does a good job of controlling body and size throughout his delivery. More reps and added strength will be key for Millar as he continues to mature and fill out his long 6-foot-7 frame. Threw all three pitches for strikes while curveball had depth and spin. Will continue to track the progress and development of Millar. Will be one to keep an eye on.
3.26.16 Long and lanky with ideal pitcher's frame at 6-foot-6, 171-pounds. Arm is short in the back and able to get out front on time from a 3/4 arm slot. Fastball worked in the low 70's and was in the zone working to arm side mostly. Curveball was 55-56 mph with room to throw the pitch harder, had downward rotation on the ball while the changeup was 63 mph and showed action when down in the zone. Young 2019 grad with room and time to develop, gotta like the body and what could be.
