Lean 5-foot-10, 160-pound frame on the 2016 grad who played both infield and outfield at the event. Oats was similar in velocity at 73 mph in the infield and 70 mph from the outfield. Showed athletic actions and body control defensively, hands worked in the infield while he would take good first steps. Arm was from 3/4 arm slot and made all throws. At the plate, the left-handed hitter uses a big leg kick to load, lots of waggle with the hands and bat. Still able to get head out front and stay under control to contact. Shows good balance and hand eye ability. Uncommitted 2016 who may surprise some people this summer, needs to and on 10-15 pounds and could see drastic improvements.
