6-foot-1, 195-pound left-handed hitting and fielding first baseman with good frame to add strength gains. Hits from a wide stance with hands back and low. Pick up and put down with his front foot, hands have tendency to drop. Shows good bat speed through the hitting zone, able to get out-front and extend. Chance to have some power, good barrel control and makes a lot of contact. Exit velocity was 85 mph. Defensively, arm works, fields middle of body from wide stance. Moves well around the bag and is a sound defender. Strength gains and maturity will help Browne significantly with a chance to be a strong left-handed first baseman.
