De Sousa listed at 6-foot, 175-pounds with athletic actions and room to add size and strength to frame. Arm is clean in the back and moves well with some whip from his 3/4 arm slot. Three pitch guy who attacks hitters and looks to pound the zone. Fastball was 80 mph but have seen up to 82 mph, ball has arm side run and well induce ground balls. Changeup shows late fading action out the hand while curveball has proper rotation and depth with 12/6 shape when he is on top and out front. Three pitch guy who should continue to develop and make gains as he adds strength and physical maturity.
