English has taken the next step with his fastball as he now sits in the upper 80's topping out at 89 mph. The breaking ball has sharp, downward action and can be a potential strike out pitch. One of top uncommitted arms currently in 2017 class.
6-foot-1, 165-pound righty who's arm has life with a fastball that has been up to 85 mph. English works slightly across his body, but is still able to get out front and throw strikes. Feel for breaking around 76 mph that has good action to it with some late break at 11/5. Frame has lots of room to mature and add strength. Will be a high follow heading into 2016.
