2018 grad with wiry frame at 5-foot-11, 150-pounds. At the plate, hits from left side with slightly open crouched stance, hands are up and back with small bat waggle, minimal separation in load with hands, line drive type swing that worked to stay inside of ball. Defensively, arm was loose across the infield, made the plays and can show more fluidity between hands and feet with his transfer, velocity across the infield was 74 mph. On the mound, Nantais topped out at 78 mph, arm was clean with whip, had some length in back but as still able to get out front. Changeup would run and breaking ball had rotation and biting action when his delivery and release point was on time. More to come as he continues to develop and adds size.
