9.9.17 - Kanters, a young 2020 grad with strength gains remaining at 5-foot-9, 145-pounds. At the plate, hits from open stance and hands back in good position, small load to separation with hands and toe turn to load, looked to pull baseball and can create more extension and separation to free up his hands in swing. Arm had some length in the back from the outfield and on the mound. Fastball did show some fading action to the arm side while the secondary stuff is still a work in progress for the young right-hander. Kanters looks to add size and fine tune some mechanical adjustments heading into 2018.
