Towers is a 5-foot-9, 150-pound 2019 middle infielder with good feel for his glove and a left-handed swing that shows some promise. Starts open with big leg kick to load, looks to generate in lower half, at times will get stuck on back leg and loses extension in swing. Took best swings when he worked to contact and stayed over the ball, more of a line drive approach and started to spray the ball to all fields. In the infield, was confident with glove and attacking baseballs, worked to both sides and came through the ball nicely, showing proper footwork and fundamentals. As Towers matures and adds strength, that will help his numbers continue to rise for the left-handed hitting middle infielder.
