Athletic frame with strength at 6-foot-1, 180-pounds. Moved easily in the defensive portion while he ran with regular effort in the 40-yard sprint which was clocked at 5.06. Worked out as both an infielder and outfielder. More natural in the outfield with athletic lower half and approach. Arm was clean and had best outfield velocity of the day at 84 mph. Was 80 mph across the infield, hands and feet were a little stiff, made the plays and was accurate with his throws. Offensively, showed strength and bat speed with exit velocity of 90 mph. Was a little unorthodox and stiff, can use lower half more, hands worked well to ball, chance to really take off with minimal adjustments. On the mound, Leader had a slow tempo delivery from ¾ arm slot. Fastball was 82-83 mph with no red flags in the arm. Can stay online and extend out front more, tendency to fall off to first base side. Curveball would cast at times but showed some spin, must maintain arm speed with changeup. Still early in year with limited bullpens. Overall athletic player who should be on schools radar, profiles as an outfielder who can run, throw, and hit at the next level.
