A 6-foot, 160-pound left-handed pitcher with a slender frame. Works from a high tempo, athletic delivery. Pitches from a 3/4 slot with a fast arm. Fastball has slight arm-side run, 77-80 mph. Advanced command of a curveball with tight spin, 2/8 shape, good depth, 67- 69 mph. Completely commanded his outing, shutting down the offense.
A 6-foot-2, 176-pound lean frame with room to add size and strength. On the mound, works from the stretch only with a high-energy and up-tempo delivery. Uses a high and aggressive leg kick before pushing down the mound with solid leg drive, finishing inline with the plate. Arm action is moderate in the back with a fluid action before coming through a high-¾ slot with arm speed. Fastball keeps its plane at 86-87 mph, around the strike zone. Shows excellent feel for the curveball, 1/7 shape and late, tight break, 69-72 mph, filled up the zone. Changeup flashes some fade 78-79 mph around the zone. Overall, Huff is a definite prospect for high level schools to follow as he continues to tack on velo and show advanced feel for the breaking ball.
A lean and projectable 6-foot-3, 175-pound frame. On the mound, the left-hander works only from the stretch with an uptempo delivery and moderate leg kick and quality leg drive down the mound. Arm action is full and fluid in the back coming through a high-¾ slot with arm speed. Fastball ranged 83-87 mph with some arm-side run. Curveball is advanced and easily one of the the best in OK’s 2019 class with tight spin and big and late depth with 1/7 shape. In the game, retired all six hitters he faced, punching out two of them.
