2/4/17
The 6-foot-1, 220 pound right handed pitcher features a strong three pitch mix. His 81-84 mph fastball displays good arm-side movement. Both offspeed pitches show a strong capability to record outs. The 64-66 mph breaking ball offers sharp, late breaking action on an 11/5 plane. He also mixes in 71-72 mph changeup that displays similar arm-side run. Showed off an impressive combination of strength and bat speed at the plate. Creates solid energy through an efficient, aggressive loading sequence. Swings the bat with intent and doesn’t get cheated. Ball jumped off his bat when he found the barrel. Behind the plate he uses quick footwork and has an above average transfer. Throws showed some carry and were mostly on target.
