6/6/17
On the mound the right-hander works exclusively from the stretch. Arm action is clean with obvious arm speed. From an over the top slot Laurendeau sat 82-85 mph with his fastball. Ball comes out of his hand well and gets on hitters quicker than velo would indicate. Breaking ball is sharp and works on a 12/6 plane at 66-68 mph. Has some arm talent and stuff plays but he will need to be in the zone more often with both offerings.

1/28/17
6-foot-1, 165-pound prospect. Similar to Keller, his frame seems longer than listed. Continues to make jumps in velocity as we see him. Works exclusively out of the stretch. Fastball sat 83-85 mph from a high ¾ to OT slot. Arm action is long and has some quickness to it. Breaking ball showed two-plane action at 68-69 mph. Effective out pitch. Also mixed in a developing changeup that sat 78-79 mph. Needs to continue refining his changeup for it to be an effective third pitch. Topped out at 88 mph from the outfield throwing with long arm action through a high ¾ to over the top slot. Projects best as a corner type. Feet work and show good athleticism. Swing from the left side starting from a wide stance. Hands start from near shoulder height and get long his load. Takes slight uphill path to the ball. Top exit velocity of 79 mph. Ran a 4.6 home to first time.

6/13/16
Athletic duel prospect with a 6-foot-1, 165-pound frame. At the plate he uses a hands back load during his toe turn timing mechanism. Good twitch, and above average bat speed through the zone. Strong kid. Could get more out of his lower half. Registered an exit velocity of 78 mph with much more in there. Moves well to all directions in the infield. Has athleticism to his actions. Both feet and glove are above average. Showed off impressive 84 mph arm strength across the diamond. Ran a 4.44 from home to first. On the mound the righthander shows some rhythm in his delivery. Good direction to the plate, landing on line at foot strike. His delivery shows some effort to it. Back arm action has some looseness to it and he shows some downhill action to his throwing out of a high ¾ slot. Fastball sat 80-82 mph. Curveball has sharp break on an 11/5 plane at 62-65 mph.
6/6/16
A very good athlete on the mound with a 6-foot-1, 165-pound frame. Good tempo to a delivery that requires some effort. Arm action is clean with quickness to it. Working through  high ¾ slot he consistently sat 79-83 mph with his fastball. With his athleticism and clean arm action velocity should continue to rise. Location was inconsistent with his curveball but when it was down it was sharp at 65-67 mph. Has some feel for his 75-76 mph changeup.

2/15/16
6-foot,150-pound average build. A talented two-way prospect that had an impressive day. On the mound he shows a clean delivery that requires some effort. He starts with a leg kick into a balance point. Down then out path on his lead leg. Shows good direction to the plate, landing on line at foot strike. Long, loose back arm action into a high ¾ slot. Fastball sat 79-83 mph. Sharp breaking ball at 69-72 mph with 11/5 powerful break. Changeup sat 73-74 mph. At the plate he starts in an athletic, balanced stance from the left side. He uses a simple toe turn load while starting with his bat vertical. He doesn’t have much pre swing movement but is able to get efficient use out of his lower half with good batspeed and whip through the zone. He takes a flat path to the ball with a short, compact swing and was able to consistently produce line drives in batting practice. Swing should translate to game action. Reached a top exit velocity of 74 mph with much more in the tank. In the outfield he looked very fluid taking excellent routes with the ability to play through the ball. He used an efficient crow hop to get momentum into his throws and showed impressive 87 mph arm strength to home plate. Ran a 4.68 down the line.
