Lands in a straight line at foot strike, finishing with his momentum carrying in good direction toward home plate. Throws with a long arm action and has average arm speed through a ¾ slot. His fastball was thrown between 73-76 mph. Curveball has signs of sharpness to it with good depth on an 11/5 plane between 63-65 mph.

Turek has a 6-foot-3, 215-pound frame. He hits from an upright stance and has a wide base. He rocks back onto his back leg with his load and has a compact swing. His exit velocity was 73 mph and he ran the 60-yard dash in 8.56. On the infield, he shows fundamental footwork and takes good angles to set his body up to turn the double play. On the mound, he throws from a high-3/4 arm slot and has a long, smooth arm action. His fastball sat 71-74 mph with some arm side run. His curveball had 11/5 break to it and showed some depth at 62-65 mph. His changeup sat 67-68 mph and was thrown with fastball arm speed.
