Giesige has a 5-foot-9, 160-pound build. On the mound, he throws from an over-the-top arm slot and has a long, effortless arm action. In the windup, he creates deception with a very high leg kick. His fastball sat 78-80 mph with some occasional arm side run. His changeup was thrown with good arm speed and sat 70-74 mph with sink. His curveball showed late depth with 12/6 break at 65-67 mph while his slider had tight 10/4 break and sat 67-71 mph.
