8/2/17 A projectable left-handed hitter who is far from his ceiling. Already shows impressive pop and has much more in there once he fills out his projectable, 6-foot-4 frame. Profiles as a run producer at the next level with his strength and natural loft. Ideal frame for the position with athletic feet around the bag. Hands are soft and glove skills are more than adequate for the position.
6/6/17 A physical bat from the left-side. Starts in a taller setup and initiates loading sequence through a knee pinch load and controlled stride. Barrel starts vertical and gets on plane early. Creates early bat speed with barrel whip through contact. Flashed power potential to his pull side. At first base he moves around the bag well and has obvious feel for the position. Glove works in and out of his funnel. Ideal frame for the position. Projects as an above average defender at the next level.
6-foot-4, 190-pound projectable, strong frame. Ran a 7.37 60-yard dash. At the plate he has a simple approach mechanically, implementing a short stride in his wide setup. Hands stay simple before getting through the zone on a slightly uphill path. A very strong kid and the ball came off his bat well when he found the barrel. Top exit velocity was 88 mph. Ideal frame for a first baseman. Gets off the bag well and flashed solid glove skills. Could play lower. Threw across the infield with 74 mph arm strength.
