6-foot, 205-pound prospect with strong, solid frame. His bat is his key for the next level. Has upright power stance. Triggers hand load from shoulder. Attacks hitting zone well squaring barrel on ball. Good power potential. Has good hip torque finish. Defensively, he projects as a first baseman while showing good movement around the bag. On the mound, he has good front side in delivery but is tad long on back arm extension. Has 3/4 to low 3/4 arm slot. Needs to enhance lower half hip pop in follow through to promote more velocity. Fastball is straight at 79-82 mph with downward spin on curve at 67-68 mph.
Strong stocky 6-foot-0, 215-pound body, not much projection. Offers two-shot ability. Excellent foot-speed for size (5.09 40 yd on concrete). Shows good defensive ability. Fields what he gets too with good hands and playable 77 mph across diamond throw. Balanced hitting stance. Gets good lower half in swing to project power. Has some length in swing (78 mph bat velo). On the mound, the right-hander uses quick, short arm action through a high ¾ arm slot. Uses quick rhythm to his delivery. Fastball sits at 81-85 mph with some sink. Curveball shows 12/6 late breaking action down in the zone. Split-finger sits at 68 mph and shows good diving action.
