A 6-foot, 220-pound prospect. At the plate he swings from the right-side, starting in an athletic setup. Hands stays loose, gaining barrel momentum during his leg kick. Stride is controlled and he stays balance throughout swing. Path has some natural loft. Strength is his top tool at the plate. An aggressive approach, with present gap pop. Showed flashes of power to come. A third baseman that showed some fluidity to his actions. Footwork is direct with fringy lateral mobility. Made outstanding diving plays to his glove side in defensive eval. Hands are soft and glove works in and out of funnel. Showed enough arm for the position. On the mound the right-hander has a slower paced tempo that requires regular effort. A drop and drive type guy that creates adequate energy with lower half. Arm moves through a near high-¾ slot, showing above average arm speed. Arm actions is long and loose. Ball gets out of his hand well. All physical signs point to more velocity to come. Fastball was mostly true through the zone and he did a nice job of commanding the pitch. Worked mostly with the fastball but also showed a breaking ball. Throws the pitch firm with good spin. The offering has depth and sharpness, while working on an 11/5 plane.
