6-foot, 175-pound strong, athletic frame. At the plate the righty starts in an open, athletic stance and uses a short stride to get back to even. During his stride he takes his hands back to his shoulder for balance and added torque. Takes a slightly downhill path to the ball and was able to square up numerous balls in batting practice. Exit velocity was 74 and he ran a 4.4 from home to first. Behind the plate he starts in an athletic crouch and does a good job of getting his shoulders in line with second base before he throws. Quickness in his feet and his transfer led him to consistently sit between 1.97-2.13 on his pop times with 74 mph arm strength. In the outfield he did a good job of keeping his momentum through fielding position into his throws. With short, clean arm action he threw with 78 mph arm strength to home plate.
