5’9, 178-pound prospect. On the mound, the left-handed pitching prospect brings an athletic, muscular build. Prefers to work from the stretch, and looks comfortable. Creates most of his energy with a high leg kick and a strong back hip drive into his delivery. Closes his front shoulder slightly as he pushes off his back hip toward the plate. Delivery carries him into a slight fall of to the third base side. Fastball has little run away from right-handed hitters, and is located well. Prefers to work toward the outside corner of the plate. Delivery drops from over-the-top to slight ¾ slot when working in his breaking ball. Curveball has late break action, and moves through a 1/7 path. Very comfortable going to his curveball early in the count, and prefers to go back to it as his strikeout pitch. Preferring to work from the stretch, the prospect has natural ability to hold runners well. Although he doesn’t show it often, he has a developing changeup that compliments his other two pitches. Locates the changeup well, and works best when he can  vary his three pitches throughout the at-bat.
