6-foot-1, 185-pound prospect with solid, athletic frame. From behind the plate, he shows fluid footwork and a clean exchange. Uses short arm action. Reached a top velocity of 72 mph from the crouch and split times between 2.12 to 2.15 with accuracy. The right-handed hitter starts in a slight crouch. Uses a short stride. Simple load with his hands. Slight uphill path to the ball with line drive production. On the mound, the righty uses a big leg kick and hip load. Shows long arm action through high ¾ arm slot. Wraps a bit in his back arm action. Fastball sits 77-79 mph with straight action. Breaking ball sits between 64-66 mph with good depth. Needs to maintain arm speed on the pitch. His changeup sat at 69 mph with good arm action. Sells the pitch well.

Curtis showcased good extension to his swing and a simple approach to hitting. He went 2-for-3 at the plate in game action and displayed a 79 mph bat exit velocity. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound backstop showed pop times of 2.15-2.25 on throws of 68 mph out of the crouch. Curtis topped at 78 mph out of a high 3/4 arm slot in one inning of work on the mound at Slippery Rock University. He faced three batters retiring two by strikeout and getting a comebacker for the third out. Curtis also flashed a 12/6 breaking curveball at 66 mph with tight rotation that has the makings of a dominant pitch.

Fastball ranged 77-78 mph with some feel for off-speed; downward spin curve (68-69 mph) and change with some sink (69-71 mph). Has good developing catching skills with good split time release (2.06 to 2.09). Hits with low hand trigger which cause a flat plane swing. Has good swing finish but needs to enhance more lower body torque.

6-foot-1, 185-pound prospect. Registered a 7.76 60-yard dash. Behind the plate, he needs to improve his glove to hand exchange. Tends to get long at times. Reaches a top velocity of 69 mph from the crouch with a pop time between 2.00-2.24. At the plate, the right-handed hitter shows some raw power. He uses a slightly open stance with a short stride. Uses quick hands that help generate some pull pop in his bat. On the mound, he shows average arm speed through a high ¾ arm slot. His fastball sits 78-81 mph. His curveball is 68-71 mph with 11/5 break. Shows decent depth. His changeup lacks movement and overall command at 70 mph.
