5’11, 200-pound prospect. Swings it from the right-side, initiating pre launch movements with a controlled stride. Hands move back prior to taking a mostly level path to the baseball. Stronger than he is fast with the bat. Middle of the lineup guy with easy gap pop. At first base he moves off the bag with smooth footwork. Mechanically sound with feel for the spot. Ball skills are adequate. Plays through the baseball with confidence, making all the plays in his evaluation. On the mound the right-hander goes with a slower paced tempo. Arm action is long back with some whip as it accelerates through a high-¾ slot. Fastball stays mostly true as it enters the zone. Breaking ball had gradual break while moving on an 11/5 plane. A strike thrower in general that consistently made hitters earn their way on base.
