8/1/12
5-foot-10, 165-pound outfield prospect. Excellent next level prospect with obvious baseball sense and skills. Runs impressive 6.75 60-yard time that should translate to baseball speed. Has feel for stealing bases and good gap-to-gap coverage defensively as a center fielder. Good jump off bat defensively with plus arm strength (85 mph) with some carry. Hits from wide base. Squares barrel on ball with chest level trigger. Good bat speed and finish. Repeats delivery as lefty hurler, fastball ranges 82-84 mph with feel of change and cutter. Moderate upper 3/4 arm slot.

2/18/12
Athletic, quick twitched 5-foot-9, 160-pound player with good baseball sense and skills. Ran 5.0 flat 40 yard (concrete) and shows good defensive ability. Good balance and hands with solid ML average 89 mph over the top arm strength. The lefty hitter shows good ability with the bat. Slight open stance, has good load and directional path to hitting zone. Solid contact with 80 mph bat speed. Will increase power with enhancement of lower body torque. Good baseball kid and a solid D-1 player.
Longo is an athletic prospect and one of the top outfielders in Ohio’s class of 2014. He shows a high motor and natural feel for the position. The left-hander uses a 3/4 arm slot and short, easy arm action to generate a top velocity of 84 mph. At the plate, the left-handed hitter uses a short stride and medium to high leg kick that disrupts his consistency at times. Still, he uses an explosive lower half and above average bat speed to generate consistent line drives. He registered a 7.5 60-yard dash on a slow track.
