6/8/15
Good 6-foot-4, 210-pound pitcher’s body frame. On the mound he uses a good hip load in a delivery that requires regular effort. He has increased the tempo, smoothening out and improving his delivery since the last time we saw him. His stride foot lands slightly closed on his heel and ends up following through more towards the first-base side. He has a clean, longer arm action and uses average arm speed coming through a ¾ slot. We saw a big increase in velocity with his fastball since the last time we saw him in February, sitting between 85-87 mph. His curveball was thrown between 71-73 mph that showed good depth at 11/5 tilt. He flashed a changeup at 73 mph using fastball arm speed. During his inning on the mound he struck out 3 out of the 5 batters he faced and registered two fly ball outs.

2/15/15
6-foot-4, 210-pound big, projectable build. On the mound the righty has a slow tempo delivery with a solid lower ½. At times he gets to mechanical. From a high-¾ slot his fastball sits 81-83 mph that is heavy with arm-side run. Showed a solid breaking ball at 69-73 mph and showcased an above average changeup at 70-73 mph good arm speed.
