6-foot, 170-pound thin build. From the outfield he uses good footwork approaching the baseball. He could use more of a crow-hop to generate momentum in his throws. Throws from a high-¾ arm slot with 77 mph arm strength. At the plate he starts open and gets to even. Slightly uphill swing path through the zone. Registered a top exit velocity of 76 mph while running a 5.12 from home to first. On the mound he uses smooth rhythm in his delivery that requires some effort. Shows good direction to the plate, landing on line at foot strike. Throws with an over-the-top arm slot with quick arm speed. Two pitch mix with the fastball sitting 77-81 mph. Curveball has late break on a 12/6 plane with fastball arm speed at 68-69 mph.
7/8/15
6-foot, 170-pound thin, projectable body frame with still some room to fill out with. In the outfield he uses good footwork with an aggressive approach to the baseball. He fields ground balls with his hand out in front of his body on his glove side. He throws with a short arm action coming from an upper ¾ slot, reaching a top velocity of 74 mph. On the mound he uses simple, repeatable mechanics with a straight up and down leg lift in a delivery that requires regular effort. His foot lands in a straight line at foot strike and carries his momentum finishing toward home plate. He uses just above average arm speed coming from an over the top slot. His fastball was between 77-79 mph. He threw his curveball with signs of sharp break to the pitch at an 11/5 plane, close to 12/6 between 66-68 mph. He threw his changeup at fastball arm speed between 70-73 mph.
2/7/15
6-foot, 165-pound projectable frame. On the mound the righty has a herky, jerky delivery that creates deception for the hitter. From overt top his fastball sits 71-74 mph with good down angle to it. Shows a 12/6 breaking ball with tight spin at 67-70 mph that need to be more consistent. Also, had a solid changeup at 65-69 mph with good arm speed and some fade.
