6-foot-1, 205-pound prospect. Strong bodied two-way player. Good corner outfield skills with good range and excellent carry on 86 mph throws from the outfield. Offensively, hits from crouch. Has shoulder level hand trigger. Gets barrel quick into zone with long finish. Gets lower half torque in swing. Ran a good 7.03 60-yard dash. On the mound, he attacks with moderate arm speed through 3/4 arm slot. Shows good front side attack but is tad long on backside arm extension. Needs to keep delivery compact to maintain control. Gets backside hip pop in follow through. Fastball sits 83-86 mph with some late life. Throws good two-plane tilt curveball with some depth at 72-73 mph. Also has effective split change (76 mph).
Athletic body shows physical projection and good baseball sense as a potential two-shot prospect. Has good raw skills, ran a 5.1 second 40-yard dash on concrete. Defensively, has good range and hands with solid overtop extension on 88 mph throws. Has upright stance, has good load and directional bat path into zone with swing finish. Needs a little improvement in use of lower half torque. Likely projects as a pitcher at the next level. On the mound, he shows long arm action with quick arm speed through a high ¾ arm slot. Displays slow, smooth rhythm to his delivery. Fastball sits between 81-85 mph with late run. Curveball sits between 70-72 mph with late breaking 11/5 action. Forkball is thrown near fastball arm speed and sits at 70-71 mph with good diving action.
