6/8/15
Tall 6-foot-7, 180-pound long, lanky body frame with good projection. His mechanics are repeatable, taking his momentum in a straight line towards home plate. His delivery requires regular effort in which I would like to see him pick up his rhythm and tempo just a little bit more. He throws with a clean, loose arm action using just above average arm speed through a high ¾ to over the top angle. On this occasion he threw his fastball at 80-82 mph. He threw his curveball at 66-67 mph at a 12-6 plane that showed signs of late breaking action at times. Verbally committed to Marshall shortly after the Top Prospect Games.

6/2/14
6-foot-6, 165-pound prospect with tall, lanky frame. Projectable guy at this stage. Throws through high 3/4 arm slot with long arm action. Fastball sat in the low 80's and ran up to 83 mph with occasional arm side run. Breaking ball showed late 12/6 action at 68-70 mph. Mixed in a changeup as his third pitch at 72-73 mph. Thrown near fastball arm speed with straight action. Overall, simple, repeatable delivery. Needs to continue maturing while adding weight to his frame.

10/27/13
Tall, lanky projectable body at 6-foot-6, 165-pounds. Directional front side path towards plate with moderate upper 3/4 arm speed slot. Uses slide step from stretch. Inward turn with front side kick. Would like to see enhancement of lower body torque in delivery. Tendency to swing front leg instead of attacking along with backside hip pop. Fastball registered 82-84 mph with some run action; shows feel for curve (65-66 mph spins) and arm action change (72-74 mph). Expecting good things the next two seasons from him.
