A 6-foot, 180-pound prospect. Swings from the right-side of the plate where he starts in a taller setup. Load is fluid, incorporating a leg kick and bat tip. Path is flat with whip and solid strength through contact. Bat speed is an above average tool. Ball gets off his bat well, generating gap to gap pop. Showed flashes of power to come. Ball flight was consistent, with backspin. In the outfield he gets to the baseball quickly, approaching with aggressive footwork. Slows actions a bit prior to fielding to ensure ball security. Creates momentum into his throws with his lower half and showed above average ball skills. Throws from a lower slot than ideal for the position but the ball gets out of his hand well and throws showed carry. Behind the plate plate he brings a high level of athleticism to the position. Footwork is very quick and he gets out of his stance with ease. Exchange skills would be area for improvement. Arm strength is there.
