In the field, he shows smooth actions with fluid footwork, soft hands, and a quick, clean exchange. He reached a top velocity of 77 mph. From the crouch, he reached a top velocity of 75 mph with pop times ranging from 1.91 to 2.01. His throws were accurate and on the bag.
