Hurley has a 6-foot, 180-pound build. He stands upright and with his hands away from his body. He rocks back with his rhythm and pushes his hands back before using an uphill swing. His exit velocity was 74 mph and he ran the 60-yard dash in 7.47. On the infield, he shows rhythm with his feet and fields the ball close to his body. His velocity across the diamond was 76 mph. On the mound, he has a long arm action and throws from a 3/4 arm slot. His fastball had sink at 75-78 mph. His curveball was thrown with fastball arm speed and had 11/5 break at 63-67 mph. His changeup sat 66-70 mph with late sink.

Registered top exit velocity of 71 mph off a tee and ran 4.75 down the line. In the infield he tends to field the ball out in front and funnels into his body. Throws from a high-3/4 slot with 75 mph arm strength across the diamond.

5-foot-11, 165-pound athletic body frame. Infielder shows pretty good footwork approaching ground balls, and fields with his hands nicely, out in front of his body, bringing them into his body. He throws with a clean arm action coming from a ¾ slot, using 74 mph velocity across the infield. Right-handed hitter starts from a tall stance and uses a leg kick for added power. He loads with his hands moving to his back shoulder. Swings with an upward bat path, finishing with a one-handed follow through. He showed the ability to use both sides of the field during his round of batting practice. Reached a top exit velocity of 73 mph and ran a 4.77 out of the batter’s box to first base.
