At the plate, the right-handed hitter starts in a slight crouch. Maintains balance in his swing. Uses small stride with minimal load. Rotational type swing. Level path to the ball. Pull tendencies. From the crouch, he reached a top velocity of 65 mph with pop times between 2.17-2.35. At the plate, he shows a simple, compact swing. Doesn’t use a big load. Short and quick into the zone with surprising pop for his size.
Smallish body. Shows good speed (5.27 40 yd). Displays loose arm and quick feet defensively but needs to improve arm strength (68-72 mph and 2.00-2.24 pop time). Uses good hitting stance with rotational mechanics. Displays surprising power when he gets extension. Needs to improve hand load and good direction into hit zone.
