6/7/16 5-foot-11, 170-pound, athletic frame. At the plate he starts in an athletic setup before taking a short stride forward. Hands move back during his stride before getting through the zone on a level path. Has some twitch through the zone. Would like to see him become more fluid with his load. Reached a top exit velocity of 86 mph and ran a 6.93 60-yard dash. In the outfield he takes good routes and showed the ability to stay fluid as he fields through the baseball. Average arm at this stage as he threw with 79 mph arm strength to home plate. Throws showed some carry but needs to finish them. A two-way prospect that works through a high-¾ slot with a quick arm. Fastball sat 79-80 mph. Spins an 11/5 shaped curveball that had some sharpness to it at 64-68 mph. Very good feel for his changeup that he throws near fastball armspeed.
7/28/15 5-foot-11, 160-pound strong, athletic build. Possible two-way prospect. Right-handed hitter with a closed stance. Uses a leg kick to load with good bat speed and slightly uphill swing. Registered top exit velocity off a tee at 82 mph and was 4.51 home to first. In the outfield he takes aggressive routes to the ball. Plays thru the ball well with quick exchange and 79 mph arm strength from right field. On the mound the righty has a slow tempo delivery and collects at his balance point. Throws from a high-3/4 slot with fastball sitting 80-82 mph. He spins a breaking ball with 11/5 gradual break at 64-70 mph. Showcased a solid changeup with good arm speed at 74-75 mph.
