12/4/11 Nottingham is a solid, well-built prospect. The right-handed pitcher shows command of multiple pitches while using a max effort delivery. He shows a heavy 85-88 mph fastball. His 71-74 mph changeup is thrown near fastball arm speed and shows effective fade. He throws a 71-72 mph slider and 80 mph cutter. (His brother pitched in the Seattle Mariners organization.) 11/6/11 The 6-foot, 205-pound right-handed prospect has a thick, muscular build. His fastball sat at 84-86 mph and touched up to 88 mph multiple times. Using a max effort delivery, he struggled at times with the command of his off-speed pitches, but eventually showed three effective off-speed pitches. His slider, which has good tilt, sits at 74-76 mph while his curveball registers at 70 mph. His changeup, which shows some fade, sits at 70-75 mph.

Aggressive, max effort hurler. Good, repeatable clean delivery with quick arm speed through upper 3/4 arm slot. Showed command of all pitches Fastball ranged 85-88 mph with some late life (some arm side run & cut). Has two types of curves in arsenal. Slider type with late cut at 74-77 mph and slow downward tilt curveball at 71-73 mph with some depth. Solid arm action and run with change at 75-76 mph.
