Body Type: 5-foot-11, 200-pound very physical build. Linebacker look to him.
Swing Mechanics: Balanced stance with a simple, efficient lower half and a vertical barrel launch.
Hit: Physicality allows him to generate high output with little input effort wise. Finds the barrel often and can use both gaps. Generates natural backspin.
Power: 85 mph. Obvious strength and bat speed to stroke. Effortless juice with the present ability to leave the yard.
Offensive Projection: Run Producer
Run: 4.33 H-1st
Field: Needs a bit of refinement but plays fast and confident out there.
Throw: 71 mph.
Defensive Projection: 1B/Corner OF
Overall: Quality left-handed stick. Likely a 1B now until arm strength increases. Time will tell where he ends up defensively but he will hit his way to the next level. Uber physical lefty stick that has potential to be dynamic.
A two-way prospect in the 2020 class. A lefty swinger that starts in a balanced setup. Loading sequence is simple and swing is efficient. Advanced natural tools for his age. Path is level and he is able to create early bat speed. Consistently drove the ball with authority in batting practice. Even his misses were impressive. Stood out amongst others at the plate. In the outfield he moves athletically and gets to the ball in a timely fashion. Plays through the baseball well, maintaining momentum into his throws. Mechanically sound all-around. Arm strength would be area for improvement. On the mound the southpaw works with good pace to his tempo. Goes with an easy leg lift, staying tall at balance point prior to his stride. Uses long back arm action and delivery requires some effort. Arm moves through a high-¾ slot with developing arm speed. Does a nice job of mixing in both his fastball and breaking ball in any count. Fastball is mostly straight through the zone at 66-68 mph. Breaking ball has big, gradual break at 58-61 mph. Showed confidence in the pitch that moves on a 1/7 plane.
