6-foot-4, 225-pound strong projectable frame. Another guy that made a huge jump from last year. When we saw Jacob a year ago he sat 81-84 mph with his fastball. When he hopped on the mound on this day he consistently sat 87-89 mph, topping at 90 mph. Offspeed needs to continue to develop and there are things to clean up mechanically, but the frame and arm speed is there. High ceiling.

6-foot-4, 215-pound big body frame. Slow tempo delivery with good balance point and is on line at foot strike. From a short, high-3/4 slot his fastball sits 81-84 mph with occasional cut to it. His curveball has good 11/5 gradual break at 71-73 mph. Showcased a solid changeup at 74 mph with good arm speed and little fade to it. Left-handed hitter that is spread out and balanced. Keeps his hands back with a short, compact swing. Registered top exit velocity of 79 mph and was 4.83 out of the box.
