At the plate, he starts from a crouch and rises in his load. Short leg kick to initiate his lower half. Pull tendencies in his swing with slight uphill path. Top exit velocity of 82 mph.

9/22/13
6-foot-1, 170 pounds with a projectable frame.  Two way prospect.  Ran a 4.90 home to first time.  Throws from a 3/4 slot with short arm action.  Occasionally fields the ball like an infielder instead of getting a running start playing through the ball.  Throws from the outfield were consistently accurate.  Topped out at 67 mph.  At the plate, he starts with a wide stance and uses a long straight up and down stride.  Smooth load.  Consistently barreled up the ball, and shows some pull power.  Weight tends to stay on back leg through contact.  Registered a top exit velocity of 84 mph off the tee.  On the mound, he keeps the same 3/4 arm slot.  Uses a big leg kick, and shows good balance throughout delivery.  He used a 76-79 mph fastball that showed some arm side run.  Using two offspeed pitches, his 10/4 curveball sat between 64-66 mph.  He also revealed a projectable changeup that showed good fading at 69-71 mph.  Needs to keep arm speed up when throwing changeup.
