A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.
6/15/16 6-foot-1, 175-pound athletic body frame. On the mound he has a slower paced delivery, in which he uses regular effort. He lands in a straight line at foot strike, finishing in a balanced, fielding position. He throws with a long arm action, and some quickness to his arm speed, coming through a ¾ slot. His fastball was thrown between 80-83 mph. His curveball has sharp, late breaking action at an 11/5 plane between 67-68 mph. He also showcased a changeup thrown between 68-69 mph. In the outfield he has a tendency to field ground balls with two hands. I would like to see him try to field the ball with one hand, on his glove side, continuing to play through the ball to gain more ground on his throws. Shows arm strength, with carry throwing with a long, clean arm action coming through an upper ¾ slot. He threw using 79 mph velocity from the outfield. In the infield he uses good footwork to approach ground balls hit at him, but has a tendency to stop his feet, and could improve by continuing his footwork while playing through the baseball. He fields the ball nicely, with his hands out in front of his body, and throws with a clean, short arm action through a lower ¾ slot, while reaching a top velocity of 79 mph in the infield. The right handed hitter uses a straight on setup and uses a short up and down stride. Shows some quickness in bat while also being strong enough to hit the ball into the gap. Recorded a strong 88 mph exit velocity and ran a 7.74 60 yard dash time.
2/21/16 Kuns has an athletic 6-foot, 165-pound frame. He has a crouched stance and has good rhythm. He uses a slight leg kick and has an uphill swing. His exit velocity was 81 mph and he ran a 7.53 60-yard dash. In the outfield he takes good routes to the ball and had a position velocity of 74 mph. On the infield, he fields the ball out front and works through with his feet towards first base. His velocity across the diamond was 73 mph. On the mound, he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a long, loose arm action. His fastball sat 75-79 mph with some sink. His changeup sat 68-71 mph with fade. His curveball had 11/5 break to it and sat 65-67 mph.
