11/23/16
6-foot-1, 250-pound prospect. Ran a 8.12 60-yard dash. Has improved each time we have seen him in the infield. Footwork and glove both noticeable better from last event. Also did a nice job of playing low when moving off the bag. Showed off 76 mph arm strength across the diamond. A strong kid with above average bat speed. Ball comes off his bat very well and he finds the barrel consistently. Registered a top exit velocity of 92 mph off the tee.

6-foot-1, 250-pound strong, thick frame. Ran a 4.91 from home to first. At the plate he starts open prior to his short stride forward. Ambush type that uses little load prior to launch. Bat gets through the zone on a level path with advanced strength through contact. Would be aided by a gather prior to his stride to get more of his natural strength and bat speed into contact. Reached a top exit velocity of 89 mph. A mechanically sound first baseman that does a nice job with his footwork. Glove skills are adequate and he threw across the infield with 73 mph arm strength.

6-foot-1, 230-pound strong, thick build. In the box the right-handed hitter starts slightly open and uses a short stride to get back to even. Swing is somewhat unorthodox but the ball jumps off his bat when he finds the barrel. Has definite strength and batspeed through the zone as he reached a top exit velocity of 94 mph. Very mechanically sound at first base. Moves off the bag well and does a good job with his footwork to create efficient throwing lanes to second base on his double play balls. From a high-3/4 slot he threw with 74 mph arm strength across the infield. Ran a 4.94 from home to first.
